How to optimize the surface of the terminal block?

There are two methods to optimize the appearance performance of the terminal. One is the planning of the terminal, establishing and adhering to a stable terminal touch interface. The second is to establish a metallic touch. It is required that any external film layer does not exist or will break during insertion. There is no difference between the two forms of film and film rupture, that is, the difference between noble metal plating and non noble metal plating. Precious metal electroplating, such as gold, palladium and their alloys, is inert and has no film layer. Therefore, the metallic touch is "automatic" for these surface treatments. What we should consider is how to adhere to the "noble" appearance of the terminal and not be affected by external factors, such as pollution, dispersion of base materials, terminal corrosion, etc. Non metallic electroplating, especially tin, lead and their alloys, is covered with an oxide film. However, when inserted, the oxide film is easily broken, and a metallic touch area is established.

Most terminal reeds are made of copper alloy, which will generally corrode in the service environment, such as oxidation and vulcanization. Terminal electroplating is to isolate the reed from the environment and avoid corrosion. Electroplating materials, of course, will not corrode, at least in the application environment.
