There are many kinds of springs, and the application conditions of all kinds of springs are different. In order to ensure the service life and application effect of the springs, we also need to maintain them regularly. But what is the maintenance method of each spring? 1、 Valve spring

Under the action of high temperature and periodic high-frequency alternating force, the valve spring will be worn and plastically deformed after use for a period of time, which will weaken the elastic force, resulting in lax valve closing, engine power reduction, black smoke from exhaust, and difficult starting. Therefore, check the spring force of the valve spring regularly. A small piece of iron sheet can be padded between the old spring and the new spring, and clamped on the bench vise for pressure comparison to see the shortening degree. When the new spring is compressed to 2 / 3 of the original length, if the old spring is 2mm shorter than the new spring, it should be replaced. If there are no spare parts for the time being, a flat washer of about 2mm can be padded on the old spring to make up for its insufficient elasticity. In general, the valve spring should be replaced after 2500 ~ 3000h.

2、 Injection pump plunger spring

The plunger spring of the fuel injection pump will also be worn and deformed by the periodic high-frequency alternating force, thus shortening its free length and weakening its elastic force. After the elastic force decreases, the return speed of the plunger slows down. Like this. When the engine is running at a high speed, the reciprocating motion of the plunger cannot keep a coordinated relationship with the high-speed rotation of the oil pump cam, thus reducing the lift of the plunger The fuel supply is correspondingly reduced, resulting in a decrease in engine power. Therefore, when the plunger spring is used for 3600 ~ 4500h, it should be replaced in time.

3、 Outlet valve spring

After the spring force of the oil outlet valve is weakened. It will cause serious internal leakage of high-pressure oil, reduce the residual pressure in the high-pressure oil pipe, slow seating of the oil outlet valve, resulting in reduced and unstable oil supply, and weak engine operation; Traveling block;. In addition, the fuel injector will be weak at the beginning of injection, the fuel cut-off will not be complete, and the phenomenon of rear dripping will appear Thus, the combustion deteriorates, the engine overheats and the exhaust emits black smoke. Therefore, the oil outlet valve spring should be replaced after 3600-4500h of use. In case of bending deformation, it should be replaced in time.

4、 Speed regulating spring

The following points shall be paid attention to when using the speed regulating spring of small diesel engine:

1. After the diesel engine is shut down, the speed regulating handle shall be placed at the stop supply position to prevent the speed regulating spring from being stretched for a long time, resulting in weak elasticity.

2. The speed regulating spring and other parts shall be cleaned frequently to avoid blocking by dust and sundries, which may cause stagnation and affect the normal operation of the governor.

3. It is not allowed to use the speed regulating spring; Stabbed to death; To increase the engine speed, otherwise serious consequences may be caused.

4. If the elastic force of the speed regulating spring becomes small after long-term use, the diesel engine will not reach the desired speed. At this time, the adjustment screw can be used for adjustment. When adjusting the adjusting screw, the engine speed must be measured with a tachometer.

5、 Clutch spring

The clutch spring is mostly affected by static pressure. If it is used for a long time, plastic deformation will occur, the free length will be shortened, and the elastic force will be weakened. After the elastic force of the clutch spring is reduced The torque transmitted by the clutch will be reduced, and the power of the engine will not be fully exerted, thus causing the locomotive to work powerlessly. When it is found that the spring force of the clutch spring is weakened, it can be adjusted by adding a shim of appropriate thickness in the part pit in contact with the spring. When adding shims, it shall be noted that the free length (including shim thickness) of each spring on the same clutch assembly shall be consistent. If the spring cannot recover its original spring force after adding gasket, a new set of springs shall be replaced. Generally, when the spring is used for 2500-3000h, 1-2mm thick gasket shall be added to adjust the pressure; After 5000h of use, all springs shall be replaced at the same time.

6、 Steering spring of walking tractor

When installing the steering spring, first identify the left-hand spring or the right-hand spring. The left side shall be equipped with right-hand spring, and the right side shall be equipped with left-hand spring. If the left and right springs are installed incorrectly, the steering spring will be subjected to a reverse torsion when the tractor is steering, which will deform the spring, even break the spring, or scrape and damage the inner step of the steering gear. Once the spring is broken and the steering handle is released, the steering gear loses thrust It is very likely that serious accidents will occur if the teeth cannot be returned. Identification method of left and right-hand springs: hold the spring with your left hand, with your thumb upward, and the other four fingers are the left-hand springs whose direction is exactly the same as that of the steel wire; otherwise, the right-hand springs.

In addition, insufficient steering spring force may cause the walking tractor to lose its handling stability Therefore, check the steering spring regularly. The inspection and adjustment method is the same as the valve spring, but flat washers with the same thickness shall be padded on both sides. Generally, it is checked and adjusted once every 4 years.

7、 Spring with adjustable spring force

When the spring force of the pressure regulating spring of the fuel injector is weakened Poor atomization of fuel injection, deterioration of combustion, reduction of engine power and increase of fuel consumption; After the elastic force of the governor speed regulating spring decreases, the engine speed decreases The power decreases, and at the same time, it will be generated; Traveling block; Phenomenon: after the spring force of the pressure regulating spring of the lubrication system and the spring force of the safety valve of the hydraulic system are weakened, the parts will be accelerated to wear and the technical state of the engine will deteriorate; After the elastic force of the positioning spring of the shift fork is weakened, the gear of the transmission cannot be reliably positioned, and automatic shifting and disordered shifting will occur. Therefore, the pressure of the adjustable spring shall be adjusted in time.
