The spring is an elastic element. Due to the elasticity of the material and the structural characteristics of the spring, it has the characteristics of repeatedly making corresponding elastic deformation with the size of the external load, and immediately restoring the original state after unloading. Its main functions are:
(1) Vibration damping and buffering, such as suspension springs of vehicles, various buffers and springs in elastic couplings.
(2) . force measuring, such as the spring of force measuring device and spring scale.
(3) Store and output energy, such as clock spring, bolt spring, original spring on instrument and automatic control mechanism, etc.
(4) Control movement, such as the spring that controls the closing of the spring door, the spring on the clutch and brake, and the spring that controls the opening of the cylinder valve of the internal combustion engine.
