  • Product description

Spiral compression spring, referred to as compression spring, is a spring used to bear and resist axial pressure. In all spring categories, compression spring is the more common one, and it is the mechanical element with reasonable energy storage. In addition to the common cylindrical shape, other shapes are often used, such as conical, convex and concave. Normally, this spring is either passed through a shaft or placed in a hole. When you apply a load to the helical compression spring, the spring will become shorter, and then resist the load and restore its original length.

Application scope

From automobile engines and large stamping machines to key household appliances and lawn mowers, from medical equipment, mobile phones to precision instruments, compression springs have a wide range of applications. Before purchasing the pressure spring, be sure to know the manufacturing industry and working conditions of your pressure spring, because it is directly related to the selection of spring materials.

Direction of compression spring coil

The coil direction of the compression spring is like the thread of a screw, which can be left-hand or right-hand. When using, if one spring must be sleeved in the other spring, it must be ensured that the rotation directions of the two springs are opposite, one is left and the other is right; If the bolt must be screwed into the spring, ensure that the rotation direction of the bolt is consistent with that of the spring.

The total number of coils refers to all coils from one spring to the other. No matter whether the ends are in the parallel tight state or the parallel tight grinding state, the two ends of the compression spring often have a section of incomplete coil, which is not a reasonable number of coils and is only used to support the upper and lower ends. The reasonable number of turns refers to the complete number of turns that can play the role of the spring, and the energy can be stored and released in any part of the spring. For the compression spring, when the compression spring is under pressure, the reasonable coil can expand to resist the pressure. When designing the spring and defining its size, it is particularly important to count the number of turns of the spring because the number of turns is very harmful to the force of the spring. The number of turns is quite immediately clear, that is, counting from one end of the spring, that is, the position where the spring wire is cut, and then the spring wire rotates. A complete spring coil (180 ° = 0.5 turns, 90 ° = 0.25 turns) is formed after each 360 °.
